This was my first studio recording and had the extraordinary experience to be produced by Grammy Award winner, Leslie Ann Jones. The musical style of ‘a guide to misinterpreting the past’ is hard to describe. At first listen, the music seems to have no discernible melody and is instead based on patterns and textures. It is simultaneously simple and complex, dissonant and beautiful, precise and emotional.
